OKLAHOMA CITY, May 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Enerlabs, Inc.
(OTC pink:ENLB) today announced that it will focus on Colorado as the first state in which to
establish testing locations for cannabis and that this represents a
new direction for the company. The company believes that with
the increase in legalization of marijuana there will be additional
regulations put in place that will require services such as those
that can be provided by the laboratories that Enerlabs is
establishing.
"Colorado seems to be at the
forefront of the developing cannabis industry. Colorado began phasing in testing of marijuana
edible products on May 1st
and final regulations for the state will require that all products
be tested and labelled for THC content and contaminants by
October 1st," stated
Scott Shaw, Vice President. "After
several productive trips to Colorado, I believe we have a solid team of
technical expertise coming together. The individuals we are
having discussions with have all expressed a shared vision and
enthusiasm about building a successful lab testing enterprise that
can play a role in setting standards for this new industry. We
believe we will be able to expand to other states with similar
programs as legalization of marijuana progresses."
Further announcements will be forthcoming.
