Raymond D. Perkes, a Non-Executive Director of BDI Mining Corp (the "Company"),
advised the Company that, on 24th January 2007, he sold 350,000 shares in the
Company at a price of 26.25p per share.


Further, Mr Perkes advised the Company that, on 25th January 2007, he exercised
200,000 options granted to him by the Company. The options were exercised at a
price of 18.4p per share. These shares will be issued and allotted; they will
rank pari passu with all other shares in issue and form part of a Block Listing
already lodged with AIM.


Mr Perkes' resultant holding amounts to 872,953 shares representing 0.87% of the
issued share capital of the Company.



BDI Mining Corp is an Asia-Pacific focused mining and exploration Company whose
primary assets are the Cempaka alluvial diamond mine in Indonesia, and the
100%-owned, advanced Woodlark Island gold project in Papua New Guinea.
