Swire, a Director of the Company:

- purchase of 25,000 ordinary 67p shares of the Company at a price of 478.0p on

19 December 2003

As a result of this purchase Mr Swire, a Director of the Company, is now
interested in 54,526 ordinary 67p shares of the Company (0.25% of the issued
class of capital).
