Paul Mueller Company (Pink Sheets:MUEL) is pleased to announce that John J. Ghirardelli has been appointed to its Board of Directors. His appointment will be effective January 1, 2012. Mr. Ghirardelli will fill the seat to be vacated by William R. Patterson, whose retirement from the board was previously announced.

"John's background will provide the board with valuable perspective on manufacturing and field fabrication," said Don Golik, Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Ghirardelli is the President and CEO of The Killian Group, a Springfield, Missouri based construction firm specializing in the hospitality industry. He has more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing and construction.
