Change in Directors

In relation to the recommended cash offer for Filofax Group plc ("Filofax") by
Day Runner (UK) plc, the following directors of the board of Filofax have
resigned, Mark Robert John Tyndall and Robert David Collischon, both as of 30
October 1998, and Robin Anthony Field as of 1 November 1998.

As of 30 October 1998, James Edward Freeman, Jr., Dennis King Marquardt and
Mark Andrew Vidovich have been appointed to the board of Filofax.
