The Issuer has various series of notes in issue under a GBP5,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme and is making this announcement in the context of the RIIO GD2 Draft Determination.

On the 4th of September the Issuer and Scotland Gas Networks plc responded to Ofgem's consultation response on the RIIO-GD2 draft determination. There are a number of areas that have been identified as the Issuer has progressed through this consultation process, that give rise to concern. The Issuer has communicated these to Ofgem through its response and will continue to work with Ofgem to find an appropriate solution to these issues.
