Teleconnect, Inc. (OTCBB:TLCO) announced today that it has closed an agreement whereby MediaWizz will provide Teleconnect initially 1000 Multimedia Kiosks to be placed in key, pedestrian intensive areas. The Multimedia Kiosks provide a range of services including image printing capability from mobile phones via Bluetooth, electronic ticketing, internet access, electronic charge system connected with major credit cards, generation of Teleconnect's PINs for its prepaid cards, recharges for prepaid cards and recharges for mobiles. Teleconnect Inc. President, Gustavo Gomez explains, "This significant agreement will allow Teleconnect to offer its services electronically from more than 1000 distribution points initially. This is the first important step in our expansion beyond our base of over 8000 existing distribution points. In addition, Teleconnect is responsible for the distribution and maintenance of the Multimedia Kiosks and will receive a percentage of sales from non-Teleconnect products.
