Church and Crawford signs Pilot Project with Indian Financial provider to target over 2.5 million smart phone users

Church & Crawford, Inc. (OTC:CCWF) can confirm today that
its System Integrator (SI) has signed an agreement to start a pilot
project for a major financial company in India.
The financial company has expressed its willingness to
participate in a pilot using the EMPS+ solution as a key part of
its customer contact strategy. The four-month pilot project will
consist of a full deployment of the EMPS+ solution, and is
expecting millions of dollars (US) in savings along with a
first-ever revenue stream through advertisements via the EMPS+
application.
The company in India which has requested anonymity until a
purchase order is signed permitted Church & Crawford to
announce the pilot and to quote the following facts:
Pilot start date: April 2012 for a period of 6 months.
Pilot description: To further develop, test and complete field
implementations on Andriod, Blackberry and Windows OS to a user
group of 2.5M smart phone issues.
Terms: The pilot will be completed on commercial terms with a
transactional base model to be implemented. $1 per download, 2c per
connection, 10c per connection + self-service, $2 per every call
that is transferred to an agent and $3.5 per every call that is
resolved via agent chat.
With an average call volume being in excess of 220,000 calls per
day, the Church & Crawford solution is expected to reduce the
number of calls into the contact centre by up to 10% by the end of
the pilot. The key areas being in the area of IVR. The company will
for the first time work with its System Integrator to implement the
agent chat facility. The company believes that this will benefit
both the company and its customers by providing an enhanced
customer service. The company has also commented on the clear
benefits of the customer interaction particularly in the area of
on-hold experience. By increasing the customer experience it the
intrinsic benefit of increased customer retention. The company has
stated that it is in talks with partner companies to create a
mobile advertisement revenue model, based on 2.5 million users the
finance company is expected to raise new revenue in the region of
$250,000 per year.
Church & Crawford has worked closely with the SI in
providing the mobile contact strategy and identifying key areas of
improvement and revenue from mobile ads.
The pilot is expected to raise the following revenue (amounts
are all in United States Dollars):
Pilot sign up - $150,000 (one off)
Application downloads - $500,000 (one off)
Total transaction (based on 10% of current calls per day) -
$6.46 million per year
Mobile advertisement revenue - $25,000 per year
The EMPS+ solution has been developed for companies who need a
cost effective channel to interact with their customers. EMPS+ is a
standalone end-to-end solution providing a platform for customer
interaction and mobile advertisement. It also integrates into
existing Computer Telephony ("CTI") solutions to provide immediate
and extensive cost savings.
