(TSXV: PTF) Pender Growth Fund Inc. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the closing of the previously announced acquisition of BasicGov Systems, Inc. (“BasicGov”), one of the Company’s private technology portfolio holdings, by a third party (the “Transaction”).

As a result of the Transaction, the Company’s total net asset value increased by approximately $4.2 million ($0.52 per share).
