CGI wins SAP-Microsoft award for innovative solution

CGI (NYSE:GIB)(TSX:GIB.A) and client ProRail, a Dutch railway network operator,
received the SAP-Microsoft Unite Partner Connection Innovation Award on June 4,
2014, during the SAPPHIRE NOW Orlando 2014 conference.


CGI developed a mobile application in collaboration with ProRail that enables
the company to manage maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) work in an easy,
quick and affordable way. Users can upload their MRO information, including
requests and work completed, providing ProRail with a transparent and real-time
overview of MRO-related performance and costs. 


The SaaS-based application is designed for use on the Windows 8 tablet. CGI is
the first company worldwide using this type of application to automate user
processes. The technology combines cloud technology from Microsoft and SAP as a
back-office system onto a mobile platform.
