EXPLANATORY NOTE

On or about December 14, 2010, Voltaire Ltd. intends send to its shareholders of record as of December 7, 2010 copies of its Notice of Special General Meeting of Shareholders and Proxy Statement for its special general meeting to be held on January 6, 2011. A copy of the Notice of Special General Meeting of Shareholders and Proxy Statement is attached to this Form 6-K as Exhibit 99.1.
