    Matica, the AIM quoted company which designs and manufactures card personalisation machines, is pleased to announce the appointment of,
industry expert, Veraje Anjargolian as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.  

    Veraje Anjargolian, aged 63, brings to Matica extensive experience of the card industry and a proven track record in developing rapidly
growing businesses. For the last eight years, Veraje has successfully led, the Card Printer Division of Zebra Technologies Corporation
("Zebra Technologies"), a Nasdaq quoted company with a market capitalisation of approximately US$2 billion and a leading provider of
printing solutions, plastic card printers and RFID smart label printer/encoders.  Under his leadership, Zebra Technologies became the market
leader in the desktop card printing industry, growing the card printing division revenue from less than US$4 million to over US$100+
million. He joined Eltron International, Inc in March 1996 which in turn merged with Zebra Technologies in 1998.  Previously, Veraje was a
founding member and CEO of Sara Electronics Corporation.

    Chief Executive of Matica, Sandro Camilleri said, "Veraje's appointment is excellent news for Matica.  He is well known for his
achievements across the industry and will play a key role in supporting Matica as we seek to expand our global presence. We now have in
place one of the industry's most experienced senior teams and I believe this will be an important factor as the business expands and we seek
to communicate the competitive strengths of the business to an ever increasing circle of global contacts."

    Commenting on his appointment, Veraje Anjargolian said, "I am delighted to be joining Matica. The management team are highly experienced

    Mr Anjargolian has confirmed that there are no further disclosures required under Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM rules.
