                              Exercise of Warrants

LONDON - 16th April 2007 - BDI Mining Corp. ("the Company") announces that it
has received two applications to exercise options/warrants: one from Paul Loudon
to exercise 800,000 warrants to subscribe for new Common shares in the Company
at an average exercise price of 25.97 pence per share and the other from Loeb
Aron to exercise 100,000 warrants to subscribe for new Common shares in the
Company at an exercise price of 30 pence per share.


The shares issued pursuant to this exercise will rank pari passu with all
existing Common shares in the Company.


The total number of Common Shares in issue, following this exercise of warrants,
will be 104,609,985.
