The Board of Directors of Landsbanki �slands hf. (administration
committee), in a letter dated 13 October 2008, has requested that the
Iceland Stock Exchange Ltd. (Kauph�ll �slands hf.) remove the listed
equities of Landsbanki �slands hf. from trading on the Nasdaq OMX
Nordic Stock Exchange in Iceland, cf. Paragraph 2, Article 24 of Act
No. 110/2007, on Stock Exchanges. The request is made with reference
to the Icelandic Financial Supervisory Authority's intervention in
the bank's operations in accordance with Act No. 125/2008, on Unusual
Circumstances on Financial Markets, cf. announcement from the
Financial Supervisory Authority dated 7 October this year.
