The Dallas County Medical Society Foundation (DCMSF) is pleased
to announce the receipt of a generous $40,000 grant from the
Hoblitzelle Foundation in support of its ongoing capital campaign.
This significant contribution will help enhance the Foundation's
efforts to provide educational opportunities and outreach to the
community.
The DCMS Foundation Campaign For The Future aims to improve and
expand resources and community outreach. The funds from the
Hoblitzelle Foundation will contribute towards creating programs
where school children can interact with DCMS physician volunteers
to discover the possibilities of medicine as a professional
opportunity, as well as help maintain a library of medicine and
museum containing medical artifacts and documents that preserve the
important history of physicians in Dallas.
Dr. Donna Casey, Dallas County Medical Society Foundation
Chairperson of the Board, expressed her gratitude for the grant,
stating, "The DCMS Foundation is honored to receive this generous
award from the Hoblitzelle Foundation. This gift will increase our
efforts to enable DCMS to make a lasting impact in our community.
We are deeply grateful for the Foundation's trust and investment in
our mission."
The Hoblitzelle Foundation, established in 1942 by Karl and
Esther Hoblitzelle, has a long history of supporting educational,
cultural, and health-related initiatives in Texas. Their commitment
to improving the quality of life in the community aligns perfectly
with the goals of DCMS Foundation, making this grant particularly
meaningful and impactful.
“The grant from the Hoblitzelle Foundation will provide
important resources that allow the DCMS Foundation to expand its
mission and provide programs that advance medical care in Dallas,”
said Jon Roth, Executive Vice President & CEO of the Dallas
County Medical Society Foundation. “We are grateful for their
support."
