LXRRF Luxor Industrial Corp (CE)

Luxor Industrial Corporation (Pink Sheets:LXRRF) (TSX–V:LRL) is pleased to announce that it has received Evaluation Report # 12694-R from the Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC) for its IBS3000™. This Report constitutes National Building Code of Canada (NBCC) approval. The Company has submitted a patent application for IBS3000™ and will launch product sales during the month of May.

The strength values for IBS3000™ are slightly lower than for IBS 2000® but IBS3000™ is substantially less expensive, providing significant potential for sales. Initial comments from the industry are encouraging. Luxor's Canadian distributor, CanWelBroadLeaf™, advises that IBS3000™ should be well received by builders and specifiers. Luxor's U.S. distributor, "We're excited about being a part of this product line. This product is going to make its place into Home Building because all Builders are looking for new ways of increasing performance while lowering brick and mortar costs in their houses," says Steve Conboy, President/CEO of Eco Building Products.

Luxor's proprietary floor spans, approved in the Evaluation Report, will provide significant savings to builders. Using IBS3000™, builders can cost effectively increase floor spans beyond NBCC spans and save money with cost effective design solutions while achieving stiff and rigid floors.

Builders will be able to use IBS3000™ in place of conventional bridging at a slight increase in cost, but will gain in installation costs and achieve a much more solid floor.

Earlier, Luxor advised that it anticipated significant sales growth in 2011 based on progress made with new product lines during 2010. The Company is experiencing this growth and has leased an additional 1.1 acres of land and optioned 1.5 acres from the city of Abbotsford. In December 2010, Luxor reported it had leased an additional 20,000 square feet of paved storage land to handle the increase in wood processing and had built steel racks to store engineered wood products up to 60 feet in length.
