L3 Receives Three Cogswell Awards for Outstanding Industrial Security Practices

L3 Technologies (NYSE:LLL) announced today that three of its entities have been awarded a 2019 James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Award from the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Security Service (DSS). L3’s entities were selected as three of 51 recipients of this year’s award from a field of approximately 13,000 cleared defense contractor facilities.

The Cogswell Award is the most prestigious honor a company can receive for the handling of classified information with integrity, discretion and proven reliability. The 2019 awards mark the 15th consecutive year that L3 has achieved one or more Cogswell Awards for its industry-leading security practices, and this year’s awards bring the total to 29 that L3 has received since 2005.

Recognized L3 divisions include L3 Communication Systems-West, Salt Lake City, Utah, of L3’s Communications & Networked Systems segment, as well as L3 ForceX, Nashville, Tennessee, and L3 Sonoma EO, Santa Rosa, California, both of L3’s Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) segment.
