Dev Property Development plc (the "Company") announces that it received
notification today in a letter dated 19 December 2007 that in accordance with
DTR 5 of the Transparency Obligations Directive (Disclosure and Transparency
Rules) Instrument 2006, HSBC Investments (Singapore) Limited has a notifiable
interest in 8,769,081 shares of the Company, representing 6.35% of the Company's
issued share capital. This follows a purchase on 17 December 2007 of 1,000,000
shares at a price of 70 pence.
