                               DIRECTORATE CHANGE



Following the announcement on 30 September 2005 that the recommended cash offer
made by Deutsche Bank, on behalf of Greene King Acquisitions No. 2 Limited, a
wholly owned subsidiary of Greene King plc, for the entire issued and to be
issued share capital of Belhaven has been declared unconditional in all respects
the following directors of Belhaven have resigned with immediate effect:-



Angus Meldrum

Alistair Arkley

Graeme Bissett



The following Directors have been appointed to the Board of Belhaven with
immediate effect:-



Rooney Anand

Michael Shallow
