American Stock Exchange to Trade Quarterly Expiration Options on Selected ETFs

NEW YORK, Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R)
(Amex(R)) will begin trading end of quarter expiration options on
Thursday, August 24, 2006 on the following ETFs. * Energy Select
Sector SPDR Fund (ETF Symbol: XLE; Quarterly option symbol: GQQ) *
iShares Russell 2000 Index Fund (ETF Symbol: IWM; Quarterly option
symbol: IQQ; LEAPs symbol: YNL) * Standard & Poor's Depositary
Receipts (ETF Symbol: SPY; Quarterly option symbol: RQQ; LEAPs
symbol: YAZ) * NASDAQ-100 Index Tracking Stock (ETF Symbol: QQQQ;
Quarterly option symbol: QQQ; LEAPs symbol: OOF) Quarterly
expiration options will trade with expirations in March, June,
September and December. Expiration will be on the last business day
of each respective month. Initially, Amex will list options with
quarterly expirations in September 2006, December 2006, March 2007,
June 2007 and quarterly LEAPS options expiring in December 2007.
