HARBIN, China, May 29 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- China Sky One Medical, Inc. (AMEX:CSY) ("China Sky One Medical", "CSY"), a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of pharmaceutical, medicinal and diagnostic products in China, today announced that it is donating external-use medicine worth a total of RMB 1,115,300 to Heilongjiang Foundation and Red Cross China for earthquake disaster relief efforts. The management of China Sky One Medical has been very concerned with the disaster relief efforts ever since the earthquake struck Sichuan province on May 12, 2008. The earthquake led to significant loss of life and property. "As an entrepreneurial company, we have received a lot of support from the people and the surrounding communities over the years. Since May 17th, all the medicine donated by the Company has been delivered to regions struck by the disaster by Heilongjiang Foundation and Red Cross China. The donations consisted primarily of medicine for the treatment of injuries due to contusion, sprains and fractures, the most common problems observed among the earthquake victims.
