The Vontobel Global Equity Fund (VNGIX) builds upon Vontobel’s mutual fund suite and supports the firm’s dedication to growth and expanded distribution efforts in the US market.

The Vontobel Global Equity Fund (VNGIX) is an actively managed fund investing in companies in both developed and emerging markets. Consistent with the firm’s Quality Growth investment philosophy, the fund seeks to invest long-term in companies with stable, predictable and sustainable earnings growth.

“As high-conviction, active investors, our objective is to identify top companies worldwide. Given the current economic climate of persistent inflation and a heightened sensitivity to interest rate signals, we focus on businesses that exhibit high and steady profitability, resilient business models, and strong structural growth potential," said Ramiz Chelat, Portfolio Manager.

“Our priority is to help clients achieve their financial goals. We challenge conventional wisdom, unmerited champions and complacent assumptions,” added Matthew Benkendorf, Chief Investment Officer of Vontobel’s Quality Growth team. “We deploy strict discipline and rigor with the aim to discover genuine quality and deliver enduring returns with lower risk for our clients. With the launch of this Global Equity Fund, we are expanding access to our team’s established investment strategy at industry-competitive fees.”

The new fund builds upon Vontobel’s recent launch of its International Equity Fund (VNIIX), further bolstering the firm’s mutual fund suite and direct distribution to US investors. Vontobel’s mutual funds are based on investment strategies with established track records that can be accessed through additional investment vehicles, such as Collective Investment Trusts and Separately Managed Accounts.
