PITTSBURGH, July 8, 2024
/PRNewswire/ -- "I thought there should be a way to rotate the
tires on an aircraft at a designated speed when the landing gear is
lowered," said an inventor, from Oshawa,
Ontario, Canada, "so I invented the HOOEY DEVICE. My design
would protect and preserve the tires by minimizing tread wear,
thereby saving airlines money."
The patent-pending invention provides added protection for
aircraft tire tread. In doing so, it ensures that the wheels are
already rotating prior to touchdown. As a result, it prevents the
tires from being scorched and worn excessively when landing. It
also could increase safety and stability during touchdown. The
invention features a weatherproof and automatic design that is
ideal for airlines. Additionally, a prototype model is available
upon request.
The original design was submitted to the Toronto sales office of InventHelp. It is
currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or
marketers. For more information, write Dept. 22-TRO-1094,
