(IMI Global) (OTC:INMG) (BULLETIN BOARD: INMG) , a leading provider of verification and Internet solutions for the agricultural/livestock industry, today announced that its CattleNetwork.com business enjoyed significant growth in traffic, revenue and major sponsors in 2006. CattleNetwork is a leading online news and information source for the livestock/agricultural industry. "The growth of CattleNetwork in 2006 exceeded our internal forecasts in all relevant traffic categories, including visitors, hits, page views and average visit duration," said John Saunders, president and CEO. "We have been fortunate to work with a premier group of sponsors with great brands and products who are seeking to get their message out to cattlemen using the site. We anticipate further growth in traffic and revenue in 2007 as we continue to upgrade CattleNetwork with new features and benefits both for our sponsors and our visitors." Unique visitors to CattleNetwork increased to more than 1.2 million in 2006, up 117% over 2005. Additionally, page views were up 205% to 18.1 million while average visit duration grew by 26% to 23 minutes. CattleNetwork has had more than 400,000 repeat visitors since March 2005. "Our objective with CattleNetwork is to provide all individuals involved in the beef complex with a reliable and timely source of news and information," said Rob Cook, vice president of Web products. "Everyday more and more people in the beef industry are looking to the Internet as their primary source of information on everything from current events to the latest products. We want to provide our sponsors with key search engine placement as that trend continues to evolve in coming years." Cook added that CattleNetwork currently has approximately 20 sponsors on the site, up significantly from a year ago. He noted that CattleNetwork's Platinum Partners program, a premium program for major sponsors, has also shown strong growth and now includes such leading companies as Digital Angel, Elanco, Farnam, Gallagher, Merial and Vetlife. Sponsors who participate in the Platinum Partners program pay a monthly fee in return for a higher level of exposure for their ads, including premium search engine placement, a customer Partner page, and other premium services such as feature story coverage, online forums and in depth product profiles. In addition to advertising revenue, CattleNetwork drives traffic to the Company's CattleStore.com web site, an ecommerce site catering to the livestock industry that offers hundreds of products, including animal identification, medical equipment and veterinarian supplies. In many cases, visitors to CattleNetwork.com who click on an advertisement displayed on the site are routed directly to that advertiser's product section on CattleStore.com - a major benefit for advertisers and visitors alike. Saunders said IMI Global intends to leverage the successful CattleNetwork model to introduce new online services beginning in 2007. "Based on the tremendous popularity of CattleNetwork, we see a strong business opportunity in similarly addressing other market segments, and we expect to introduce several new online offerings during 2007 and beyond." Saunders added that CattleStore also reported higher revenue on increased traffic in 2006. Specifically, unique visitors increased 217% to 100,000, page views grew by 240% to 1.1 million, and average visit duration increased by more than one minute to 15.2 minutes.
