MCLEAN, Va., July 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- QinetiQ North
America today announced the appointment of Joseph Parsley as vice president, business
development of its engineering and life-cycle management business
unit. In this role, Parsley will be responsible for capturing new
business and growing the client and partner relationships already
in place for the Huntsville-based
business unit.
Parsley joined the company from Northrop Grumman Electronic
Systems. His 14-year career at Northrop Grumman saw him in various
international and domestic business development and program
management roles. Most recently, he served as the director of
unmanned aircraft systems and rotary wing sensor systems where he
was responsible for establishing the division's capture strategies
for manned and unmanned systems.

Engineering and Life-cycle Management business unit in Huntsville, Alabama. "He is well known and
respected by customers and industry peers and will be an asset to
our operations."
A retired United States Air Force officer, Parsley spent 19
years in various operational and program management positions
across space, air, and sensor technologies.
Parsley holds a master's degree in business from Webster University and a bachelor's degree from
Southern Illinois University, which he
attended on a ROTC scholarship.
