TORONTO, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Link Linux Inc, a
Toronto- based distributor of innovative Linux based tools, has
announced its intention to initiate public trading in the near
future. The Company filed a form 211 application on August 1st,
2006, has responded to NASD comments, and is preparing for public
trading upon the expected NASD approval. Link Linux is expected to
trade initially on the pink sheets, under the symbol LLNXF.PK. The
Company's form 211 was filed by Atlanta-based market maker J.P.
Turner. "Public trading is an important part of our business
strategy," commented Link Linux CEO Everton Davis. "This move will
allow us to increase our shareholder base, provide greater
liquidity to our existing shareholders, and support further
development as our business grows." Link Linux, with business
offices in Toronto and an operational base in the Philippines,
holds exclusive distribution rights for DAVID, a package of
software tools allowing familiar Windows-based applications to be
used on computers running Linux operating systems. Link Linux
expects this unique ability to win rapid market acceptance for
DAVID, particularly among business users. The company is also in
final negotiations with several other Linux developers to market
their Linux-related products. "Using Linux operating systems can
save huge amounts of money for businesses operating large numbers
of work stations," said Davis. "Businesses in general have been
reluctant to switch to the Linux operating system because of the
need to retrain their employees. The new breed of products which
Link Linux intends to market will exploit the low cost and other
advantages of Linux without an expensive transition period." This
is not an offer to buy or sell securities. Information or opinions
