sales using localized marketing methods aimed at creating an

First, China's current bottled water sales volume as of
2020
reached
$53 billion in USD
and
is
expected to
grow annually by 5.7% (CAGR 2020 – 2025) according to
Statista.com.
Second, more
and more Chinese consumers are embracing active and healthier
alternatives beyond simply energy drinks. Third, the price
per unit of bottled water in China has steadily increased over the
past eight years. Fourth,
Chinese consumers have a growing concern over the safety of local
drinking water due to broad contaminated groundwater
and are buying
bottled water instead. Fifth,
China has
become the world's largest bottled water market by volume having
experienced an increase from 19 billion to 37 billion
liters of
bottled water from 2010 – 2015 and forecasted to grow by another
22% between 2019 – 2023.
