ActionView International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVEW) today announced that Matt "Mayhem" May won the main event of its World Championship Full Contact (WCFC) first live show in Boise, Idaho, held January 29, 2011. May defeated Nate Becker at 1:15 of the second round with a Standing McKenzietine, raising his record to 13-6. In the co-main event, hometown favorite Freddy Arteaga beat Billy Owens by a vicious knockout at 0:08 of the first round. 

Commenting on the event, ActionView CEO, Joe Wooten, stated, "The fans in Boise definitely lived up to their reputation of being some of the best in the country. They brought an energy and enthusiasm to the event that was unparalleled. The Knitting Factory is a top class venue that made sure the fans had a great time and that the athletes were taken care of. I lost count of the number of fans that shook my hand and told me this was the best event they'd ever attended."

The Boise event was also broadcast for the first time in live, streaming, television quality over the internet at www.wcfc.com. Mr. Wooten discussed the live broadcast, "Our broadcast exceeded our expectations both in the quality of the live stream and the production value. I received a text message during the event from a fan watching at home who ran the internet feed to a sixty inch TV and still had a sharp, clear picture. That we can now reproduce these results with video feeds from around the world promises to usher in a new era of how we receive programming. ActionView has set the standard by which all future internet broadcasting will be measured."

The next scheduled live event is a training seminar on February 19th featuring former UFC welterweight champion, Matt Serra. This is the first announced broadcast under the WCFC's exclusive content agreement with Buddhasport.com. Tickets for the live seminar sold out within a few days of going on sale, so the only chance most fans will have of attending will be by participating in the internet broadcast. Interested fans are encouraged to visit www.wcfc.com for more information.
