TUCSON, Ariz., Jan. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Applied
Energetics, Inc., (AERG.OB) a developer and manufacturer of
advanced ultrafast lasers, high voltage electron beam systems, and
other applied energy systems announced it will be exhibiting at
SPIE Photonics West 2012, the world's leading laser conference
January 24 to 26 at the Moscone
Center in San Francisco,
California. This annual event showcases the latest laser and
optics technology trends, products, and solutions. Applied
Energetics (AE) is pleased to introduce the Company's new Wild Cat
Ultrafast Laser product line at booth 4009. This is the first
time Applied Energetics is exhibiting at Photonics West.
Applied Energetics' Wild Cat Lasers cover a broad range of pulse
energies from nanojoules to over 1 mJ based on Applied Energetics'
proven master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) architecture.
The Wild Cat Lasers are one of the highest performing and most
versatile commercial ultrashort pulse (USP) laser systems in the
world that provides:
Higher Performance to get your work done faster.
The higher pulse energies of over 1mJ open up new processing
applications while the higher average power allows increased
throughput.
Product Versatility allows customers to adjust pulse
length, repetition rate, harmonics, and pulse modulation.
This versatility provides customers a wide range of applications
using a single laser.
Performance parameters that can be tailored for customer
applications are:
- Up to 100W average power at 30MHz non-CPA operation
- >1 mJ per pulse at kHz rep rates
- Pulse width adjustable from 0.8 to 10 ps
- Pulse picker repetition rate adjustable from 1kHz to 5MHz
- Selectable harmonics from UV up to 1030nm
