The Company was informed on 22 July 2003 that Prudential plc and certain of its
subsidiary companies (namely M&G Group Limited, M&G Investment Management
Limited and M&G Limited) are interested in 10,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each
in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), representing 10.27 per cent. of the
Company's total issued ordinary share capital. These Ordinary Shares are
