I consider what I see here, as the "voting" that is going on in the stock market a serious casting of doubt on what is being displayed by the chaos in the lack of prudence, of better choices that we see by the authorities in power. Accordingly, I sold today, half of my Nvidia shares.

This is not just a case of "traders are throwing it all away and crashing the markets". I disagree with your view that what we are experiencing is just "unintelligence".

I see it as the market and the majority are expressing distrust of what they are seeing now. Or call it "Smart Money" is telling at the situation. Not just a case of Tariffs, etc., only. The political alignment shock, the chaotic decisions and infighting, the continuing moves and removal of all the restraints and disrespect to the bounds of the law, and a run for material and power. Abandonment of what is right or wrong principles and values.

The larger picture is not looking good at this time. The whole market is saying it loudly.

A reminder that trust, confidence, and hope overall is on the wane.

Traders have no idea of how long these tariffs (some of them haven't even happened) will be engaged for, or whether all of them will actually happen at all.

They could all come to a giant nothing.

I doubt any of these tariffs have had a chance to make much of a difference on any bottom lines yet. They were only announced in the last few weeks and at least some of them have been postponed to April.

Yet, traders are throwing it all away and crashing the markets. I think they are using the recent news about tariffs, Ukraine and inflation data to simply take profits from a previously overinflated market and then will sit back and wait. They are causing this market crash.

One thing to consider is that some products cost a lot at introduction, but once scaled up and become mainstream, the costs are reduced significantly.

For example, when flat screen TVs first hit the market they cost $25k and were about 42 inches. Manufacturing and design improvements helped bring the prices down, screen sizes kept getting larger and sales went up.

Hopefully, we experience some improvements and breakthroughs in technology here which translate into higher sales and revenues.

If you read the last, AFRL PR, even the military had to go to Congress to get sufficient funding to allow them to buy and install one of IONQ‘s quantum devices.

In most companies, the equivalent process would be for an officer of that company to take and argue a business case in front of the board of directors.

At the current price for IONQ product and services, very few will ever be sold and revenues will not increase at a rapid rate, if at all.

Unless and until, their product becomes much more affordable, the share price will continue to fall until revenues substantially increase, and there’s at least a glimmer of hope that there will be some earnings in the foreseeable future.

There seems to be a lot of focus here on all of the great things IONQ is doing, and that is wonderful.

However, each of these accomplishments, partnerships and strides forward are drowned out by the overall market (and manipulation) which is pulling this down.

An unpopular observation, but I don't think we have hit bottom yet here.
