Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE:HII) announced today that Mark
Fox, corporate vice president of customer affairs, was inducted
into the Palm Springs Air Museum’s “Aviation Hall of Fame” at the
museum’s annual gala in Palm Springs, Calif., last Friday.
“The HII family could not be more proud of Mark for receiving
this honor,” said Mitch Waldman, HII’s executive vice president,
government and customer relations. “The qualities we most admire in
him, his determination and dedication, were most certainly
developed and honed during his time of service.”
Fox graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1978 and became a
naval aviator in 1980. Over the course of his military career, he
flew more than 100 combat sorties and logged more than 4,900 flight
hours and 1,348 arrested landings on 15 different aircraft
carriers. His combat awards include the Silver Star and
Distinguished Flying Cross with Combat “V.”

Military Office, where he was responsible for overseeing all
