Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On November 14, 2009, Plácido González Córdova submitted his resignation as a director of EuroBancshares, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Eurobank, effective as of November 16, 2009. Mr. González is resigning for health reasons. Mr. González, age 87, served as a director of Eurobank since 1997 and a director of EuroBancshares since its inception in 2002.
