Intermix Hires Buy.com Chief Operating Executive as COO Sherman
Atkinson Brings Strong Record of Strengthening Business Operations
to Intermix Executive Team LOS ANGELES, Nov. 16

announced today that Sherman Atkinson, chief operating officer of
Buy.com and president of BuyServices, Inc., will join Intermix as
Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO of Buy.com, Atkinson
streamlined business operations and instituted costs controls,
enabling the company to grow quickly and efficiently. In addition
to his operations duties, Atkinson also demonstrated a high
capacity for business development, successfully executing the
business plan for Buy.com's technology spin-out, BuyServices, Inc.,
of which he became president. "We believe that Sherman's

was vice president of corporate strategy and business development

agencies. Atkinson served as an intelligence officer in the United
State Marines Corps and worked as a technology and management
consultant in the government sector practice at Booz Allen Hamilton
before joining eFederal Systems. Atkinson is a graduate of Purdue
