                  Trafficmaster Plc re Share Price Movement



Trafficmaster Plc (Trafficmaster) notes the RNS issued by ITIS Holdings plc
(ITIS) this morning and the subsequent movement in the company's share price
today.  Trafficmaster also announces that it has received a letter from ITIS'
solicitors reserving the right to take legal action.



This matter relates to the publication of an executive summary of an
independently researched report by Ian Catling Consultancy. The report compares
unfavourably the quality of ITIS' traffic information with that produced by
Trafficmaster on their respective websites.



The report entitled "A Study of Traffic Information Fidelity" was commissioned
by Trafficmaster as disclosed in the executive summary.  The findings of the
report were compiled completely independently and are based on a methodology
devised by Ian Catling Consultancy.



Ian Catling Consultancy is one of the leading transport consultants in the UK
and has previously been commissioned by numerous bodies such as the European
Commission, Ford Motor Company, Traffic Director for London and DaimlerChrysler.



Trafficmaster has taken initial legal advice on this matter. The Company is
firmly of the view that Trafficmaster has no case to answer and will vigorously
defend any possible action.
