    Dipford Group Plc - New Chairman

    Dipford Group plc is delighted to announce that Barrie Newton is to become the new Group Chairman (non-Executive) with effect from 19th
May 2008.  Barrie was the Managing Director of stockbroker Rowan Dartington from its inception until the sale to Corporate Synergy Group Plc
(now Blue Oar Plc). Through Rowan Dartington's role as NOMAD to the Group, he has been closely involved with Dipford from its creation in
2001, its flotation on AIM and its subsequent growth and fund raisings.

    The Board is unanimous in its belief that Barrie's skills and experience will serve the Company well as it moves into a new phase of
growth and acquisition.  The present Chairman, Chris Pople, who has been with the company as a non-Executive Director since its flotation,
will be retiring from the Board on 23rd June.  The Board would like to place on record its thanks to Chris for the work he has done as
Chairman and non-Executive Director as well as chairing the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
