The Board of Baronsmead VCT 5 plc (the "Company") announces that the net asset value of the Ordinary Shares at 23 November 2016 was 76.53p per share.

Subject to the recommended merger of Baronsmead Second Venture Trust plc and the Company becoming effective on 30 November 2016, the net asset value of the Company's shares as at 23 November 2016 will be used for the purposes of the merger calculation.
