    Strengthening of management team and notification of preliminary results

Axeon Holdings plc ("Axeon"), a specialist provider of advanced battery and
battery management systems primarily to the electric vehicle / automotive
industry with the aim of reducing emissions, is pleased to announce
strengthening of its senior management team and that it will release its
preliminary announcement of results on 21st May.

During 2007 the Group traded in line with analyst expectations and this trend
has continued into the current year.

Mr Don Newton has joined Axeon as Group Technical Director and Mr Jim Ferguson
is joining as Group Chief Operating Officer.

Mr Newton brings a wealth of automotive electronics experience having worked in
senior engineering executive roles for global automotive manufacturers,
consultancies and Tier 1 automotive suppliers. Most recently he was Chief
Engineer Electronics at a major Tier 1 supplier where he was responsible for
diesel powertrain engine control units.

Mr Ferguson has a background in the contract electronics manufacturing industry,
where he worked as a senior vice president of a global supplier.

Mr Newton and Mr Ferguson join a newly configured executive management team,
which will additionally comprise Hamish Grant, CEO, David Campbell, CFO, and Mr
John Blinkhorne, who moves from the role of Chief Operating Officer - UK to a
new role of Business Development Director. As a result of these changes, Mr
Blinkhorne steps down from the Board of Axeon Holdings plc with effect from
today.

Commenting on the news Hamish Grant said:
