UniCredit SpA said Thursday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in order to intensify mutual cooperation across global markets.

The Italian bank said the cooperation will be focusing on trade, investments and cross-border merger and acquisition financing, among other areas. The key markets will be China, Italy, Germany, Austria and Central and Eastern European regions.
