Loonie Advances Ahead Of Canada Trade Data
Statistics Canada releases Canada trade data for January at 8:30
am ET Wednesday. Economists forecast a shortfall of C$2.5 billion,
narrower than the C$3.19 billion deficit seen in December.
Ahead of the data, the loonie climbed against its major
rivals.
The loonie was worth 1.6025 against the euro, 82.04 against the
yen, 1.0086 against the aussie and 1.2913 against the greenback as
of 8:25 am ET.
