Euro Recovers Ahead Of Eurozone Retail Sales
At 5.00 am ET Monday, Eurostat is scheduled to issue euro area
retail sales for December. Sales are forecast to drop 1 percent on
month, in contrast to a 1.5 percent rise in November.
Ahead of the data, the euro recovered from its early lows
against its major rivals. The euro was worth 1.2464 against the
greenback, 136.93 against the yen, 1.1589 against the franc and
0.8826 against the pound as of 4:55 am ET.
