Pacific Medical Training (PMT) is pleased to announce a special initiative to provide free ACLS, PALS, and BLS training for active volunteer firefighters. This program is designed to equip volunteer firefighters with the essential skills and knowledge required to respond effectively to medical emergencies. This training is required for paramedics and therefore also for firefighters working in dual roles.

The courses offered by PMT include comprehensive online training, allowing participants to begin their training immediately and progress at their own pace. Each course provides up to 8 AMA CME/CE credits, ensuring participants receive valuable continuing education credits.

Upon successful completion of the courses, participants will receive an eCard certificate and have the opportunity to complete a skills test with an instructor. PMT will also provide a printed copy of the certificate upon passing the exam.

"We are committed to supporting our local communities and the courageous individuals who serve as volunteer firefighters," says William Entriken, general manager of Pacific Medical Training. "By offering free ACLS, PALS, and BLS training, we aim to empower these heroes with the skills they need to save lives and provide better initial care to those in need."

To enroll in the free training program, active volunteer firefighters simply need to submit documentation of their active status. The courses cover essential life-saving interventions such as CPR, defibrillation, airway management, and medication administration.
