HIGHLIGHTS
- Net operating revenue reached R$ 2,900.8 million in
2011, which represents an increase of 28.6% compared with the
R$ 2,256.3 million in 2010, the principal variations being as
follows;
- Revenue from construction amounted to R$ 1,103.7
million in 2011 compared with R$ 693.8 million in 2010;
- Revenue from operation and maintenance totaled
R$ 555.1 million in 2011 compared with R$ 442.5 million
in 2010;
- Financial revenue, generated from the concession
contracts amounted to R$ 1,589.9 million in 2011, compared
with R$ 1,398.2 million in 2010;
- At ANEEL Auction 004/2011, held in September 2011, CTEEP successfully bid for the
following two lots;
- Lot K - the Itapeti Substation at an estimated investment of
R$ 43.0 million and RAP R$ 4.4 million;
- Lot L - Luiz Gonzaga –
Garanhuns, Garanhuns - Pau Ferro,
Campina Grande – Garanhuns, Garanhuns – Angelim I Transmission
Lines, and the Garanhuns and Pau
Ferro substations at an estimated investment of
R$ 650.0 million and RAP of R$ 68.9 million (CTEEP's
stake in the project being 51%);
- EBITDA of R$ 1,459.5 million in 2011 represents a
growth of 23.8% in relation to 2010 when this item reported
R$ 1,176.1 million – equivalent to an EBITDA Margin of
50.3% in 2011 against 52.1% in 2010;
- Net Income reached R$ 915.3 million in 2011, a
growth of 12.7% in relation to the R$ 812.2
million in 2010;
- Readjustment in Annual Allowed Revenue - RAP: ANEEL's
Ratifying Resolution 1171 of July
2011 established a new Company RAP for the 2011/2012 cycle.
CTEEP's new RAP now totals R$ 2,008.3
million, a growth in the controlling company of 14.1%
compared with 2010/2011.

connection points of the generator companies and other transmission
companies, feeding into the distributors' network which carries
electricity to the final consumer.
