French information technology services company Capgemini (CAP.FR) said Tuesday it started exclusive talks with Apax Partners to buy multi-channel transactional flow management company Prosodie.

Prosodie's management team is also part of the negotiations, Capgemini said.

"The transaction could be finalised in the coming weeks, on the basis of an enterprise value of EUR382 million, including the cost of two recently announced acquisitions," Apax Partners said in a separate statement.

The acquisition would allow Capgemini to complete the offer of services, the French company said in a statement.

Capgemini said it will finance the acquisition with its net cash balance. The acquisition would be accretive to net earnings per share from the first year and it would be finalized by the end of July, the statement said.

Prosodie has operations in France, Spain and Belgium. In 2010, it reported a consolidated revenue of EUR172 million.
