French IT services group Capgemini (CAP.FR) Monday said it has signed a three-year outsourcing contract with French carmaker Renault SA (RNO.FR).

MAIN FACTS:

- Capgemini will take responsibility for optimizing and managing one quarter of Renault's applications portfolio, over the entire application lifecycle.

- The project will involve over 180 Capgemini professionals and will include technical and functional updates and improvements, technical support, and applications development in procurement, quality and sales.
