BioTech Medics, Inc., (PINKSHEETS: BMCS) announces it is planning BioTech Laser Center Walk-In Kiosks that can be located in malls and convention centers throughout the USA. BioTech Medic has five existing laser centers in four states offering high powered deep penetrating Class IIIB and Class IV FDA cleared laser treatment for muscle, joint, nerve and arthritic pain.

The BioTech Laser Kiosks will feature live wireless communication with a licensed practitioner with built-in medical devices that relay patient vital signs. The system is classified as a Medical Device Data System by the FDA which sends audio and video pictures.

The kiosks will be 12 feet x 10 feet and have a licensed physical therapist or nurse overseeing the unit during business hours. Under the Affordable Care Act and state medical statutes permitting electronic prescriptions, a patient can walk up to a BioTech Kiosk at a mall location, with a pain ailment, complete an online medical history form, converse with the doctor online in the privacy of the kiosk. The doctor after examining the patient with the PT's or nurses assistance will electronically prescribe a laser treatment for one of 92 different ailments.

The economy of establishing kiosks versus leasing medical offices and hiring full time medical staff provides savings of 30% in operating costs. One licensed practitioner's salary can be divided over 3 or 4 kiosks. Patients are turning to alternative methods of treatment such as telehealth as health-care costs rise and physician shortages increase. Several health insurance plans pay for telehealth.

BioTech Medics is a fourteen year old alternative healthcare public company. BioTech currently has five affiliated laser pain management centers. They are located in California, New Mexico, Texas and Florida. BioTech has planned on expanding the number of BioTech laser centers nationwide, but due to the nation's sluggish economy and the changes in healthcare law BioTech has redesigned its business plan to incorporate more economical operating facilities such as the kiosks.
