SRS TECHNOLOGY GROUP PLC ("SRS" or "The Company")

Notification of Interest in Shares


Pursuant to the recent placing of new ordinary shares by the Company, the
Company has been notified that existing shareholders David and Vivienne Pountney
have increased their holdings in the Company. David Pountney has acquired a
further 622,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each and his wife, Vivienne Pountney
has acquired a further 523,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each.

Together with the shares that were held by them prior to this, this means that
David Pountney will have an interest in 6.38% of the issued shares. Vivienne
Pountney will also have an interest of 6.38% of the issued shares.

This information falls to be disclosed in accordance with Rule 15, and as
required by Sections 198 to 208 of the Companies Act 1985,

The Company was informed of the holding on 19 August 2003.
