14:32 EST -- Slack Technologies is one of the most talked-about companies in the U.S. across all news items in the last 12 hours, according to Factiva data. On Monday, The Wall Street Journal reported Slack parent Salesforce Inc. said Stewart Butterfield, the chief executive and co-founder of Slack, would be leaving the company. He will be succeeded by Lidiane Jones, a Salesforce cloud executive, according to the report. At 2:29 p.m. EST, Salesforce shares had fallen 7.72% to trade at $133.36 each.
