rue21, inc. (Nasdaq:RUE), a leading specialty apparel retailer, today announced that, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, rue21 is sponsoring a Breast Cancer Awareness campaign in all stores called "Big or Small, Let's Save Them All." T-Shirts & jewelry will be sold in all stores with a portion of all proceeds to be donated to A Glimmer of Hope Foundation. Glimmer is a Pittsburgh based non-profit organization currently funding the largest pre-menopausal breast cancer research study in the country. They raise awareness of breast cancer in young women and fund research for women under forty years of age living with the disease. Currently, there are more than 250,000 women under forty living with breast cancer.

Diana Napper, founder of A Glimmer of Hope Foundation, is very excited about this cooperative effort. "This partnership with rue21 is exciting for A Glimmer of Hope Foundation. We share a passion to make a difference in the lives of these young women who are fighting breast cancer. Hopefully, together, we can accomplish this common goal."

A special part of the campaign will include the rue21 INSIDERS. The INSIDERS is a group of motivated young teens who meet regularly at rue21's headquarters to discuss the newest trends in the industry, marketing concepts and their personal insight about fashion. In addition, they are active in community charities through promotional efforts. They will be fundraising by selling Heinz Field Cookbooks throughout the Pittsburgh region. All of the proceeds made from the cookbook will be donated to A Glimmer of Hope Foundation.
