The shares of the common stock, par value $0.01 per share ("Common Stock"), of First Hawaiian, Inc. (the "Company"), are owned of record by BancWest Corporation ("BWC"). BNP Paribas USA, Inc. ("BNPP USA"), the parent company of BWC, and BNP Paribas ("BNPP"), the parent company of BNPP USA, are deemed to beneficially own all such shares of Common Stock. The board of directors of BNPP has the power to vote, or direct the vote of, and to dispose, or direct the disposition of, shares of Common Stock owned of record by BWC. BNPP may be deemed a director by deputization of the Company.
